Abstract |
|
|
As a kind of environmental friendly material, bezoar detoxicating tablet was introduced as a corrosion inhibitor for Q235 carbon steel in 1M HCl solution in this work. The corrosion inhibiting performances of bezoar detoxicating tablet was analyzed using electrochemical methods and weight loss method. The corrosion inhibiting mechanisms were characterized as the adsorption of bezoar detoxicating tablet using polarization curves and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy methods. The optimum adding quantity was 1.25g L-1 and the corresponding corrosion inhibition efficiency was more than 86%.
