Recent studies confirmed the safety of pristine [60]fullerene (C60), but recent reviews do not dissipate the doubt raised by some experiments in which the culprit was the solvent used to prepare colloidal aggregates of C60 the so-called nC60. In this short review, we try to clarify the situation.
