Abstract |
|
|
The cofactor MoFe nanocrystals were synthesized based on pyrolysis by one-pot in oleyamine for the first time. The images of transmission electron microscopy demonstrated the as-prepared cofactor MoFe were composed of monodispersed, uniform nanocrystals with diameters of about 2~4 nm. The composition of the as-prepared cofactor MoFe nanocrystals was confirmed as MoFe6S8 by X-ray Diffraction, Energy-Dispersive spectra and X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy. Unlike the previous anaerobic MoFeco clusters, the as-prepared cofactor MoFe nanocrystals are not sensitive to oxygen. The electron-transfer performance of cofactor MoFe nanocrystals was conducted through electrochemical measurement at ambient atmosphere. The result of cyclic voltammograms illuminated that the cofactor MoFe nanocrystals displays successive reversible electron- transfer process.
